How We Started:

After participating in a town wide Anti-Defamation League’s World of Difference Program, a group of residents formed a committee to nurture volunteerism and go beyond our borders to help our neighboring communities.  The Director of the Voluntary Action Center of Mid-Fairfield County gave us the brochure outlining Make A Difference Day and we decided it was a wonderful way to pursue our dream.  After the incredible success from our first year, we were appointed a town committee to continue these efforts each year.
